Which postcards to send
Store-bought postcards or handmade ones. Do not send used cards, home printouts or halves of double cards unless the recipient asked for them.
Send on time
Got an address? Send the card and press "I sent it" within 14 days. If you do not make it, the address is released so the recipient is not waiting in vain. If you cannot send right now, do not request addresses.
Confirm what you receive
When a card arrives, enter its number on the site. It is the only way the sender knows it arrived.
The address is for the postcard only
Do not keep someone else's address, share it, or use it for mailings and ads.
Photos
Every uploaded photo is first looked at by the moderator, and only then can anyone else see it. The moderator sees all photos. Upload the front of the postcard. Do not upload the whole back (it has the address and text). There is a separate photo for stamps: stamps only, no address, no names and no text. Do not upload photos showing other people or documents.
One person: one profile
Do not create several profiles, or profiles for pets or relatives who do not take part themselves.
Respect
Be polite. Insults and fraud are a reason to close a profile.
Mail can be moody
Postcards sometimes get lost. The site does not guarantee delivery. If a card is not registered within 80 days after it was marked as sent, it counts as not delivered and the sender gets the slot back. If it still arrives, the recipient can register it.
Give and take
Addresses go to those who send. A newcomer gets one welcome postcard. The next ones come as your own cards arrive and are registered. Up to 10 of your cards can be on the way at the same time.
The law and good manners
Follow the laws of your country. This is a mandatory condition of using the site. Do not post anything in your profile, comments or photos that those laws forbid. Insults, humiliation and threats against anyone are not allowed. If you break this rule, the site moderators will have to restrict your access to the site permanently, with no way to restore it.
Reports and moderation
If something is wrong (an inappropriate photo or text, a postcard that was never sent), press "Report a problem" on the postcard or profile page. There is one moderator on the site; they will review it and may restrict the profile of the offender.
Gallery and profile
Photos appear in the public gallery only if you allowed it. Registered members can see your profile. Telegram and VK links are visible only if you allowed showing them. There are no private messages on the site.
